THE INSPIRATION

In her late 30s and running her own marketing business, Fiona has always had a strong connection to fashion, but found herself increasingly underwhelmed by what was available - particularly for women at a similar stage of life.

More recently, she found that too many pieces simply didn’t justify their price, falling short on both craftsmanship, fabric and longevity.

The overuse of polyester has been a particular tipping point.

Our skin deserves to breathe. Polyester has its place, but natural fibres should always be the first choice. Unfortunately, finding garments made from 100% wool, cotton and linen is becoming increasingly difficult, with synthetic blends now the norm.

“CLOTHING SHOULD MAKE WOMEN FEEL INCREDIBLE AT ALL STAGES AND CYCLES OF LIFE, AND WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO SETTLE FOR CHEAP IMITATION OR SECOND BEST.”

THE DESIGN

The design and fit of the garments is a core part of our ethos. Women’s bodies change significantly throughout our lifetime. We deserve clothes that move and adapt with us.

Each of our pieces has been carefully designed to move and adapt with you through changing seasons, stages and moments of life.

Our garments are designed with a relaxed, slightly oversized fit for improved comfort. Our innovative design features promote versatility and wearability.

THE BRAND

Fiona comes from a marketing background and has spent the past eight years running her own digital marketing business. After identifying a gap in the market for a clothing brand that genuinely championed women, she secured a highly competitive government-backed grant with Innovate UK, helping to bring her idea from concept to launch.

And so The Eleventh Edit was born. Eleven exceptional garments; made only from natural and low impact fibres, designed to last, priced with integrity and released in limited collections.
